The Nano 2010 is delivered complete with a new, specially designed "SPEEDRIDER 2010" convertible harness/rucksack, carabiners and the new fast-packing bag. There is also a zip and clip airbag, which is perfectly suited to both school and regular use.

Available in 3 sizes: 11 - 12.5 - 14 

Choose your size according to your weight and more importantly experience.

The 14 m2 is suitable for heavy weight beginners and regular intermediates.

The 12.5 m2 is suitable for light weight beginners and regular pilots.

The 11 m2 is suitable for regular and experienced pilots.

 

In addition to the latest technical improvements are a new look and optimized and improved materials, the direct result of our experience of many hours of use in harsh, extreme off-piste environments and also in schools. The NANO 2010 has a wide speed range, able to be flown slower than itspredecessor. In addition, it has a trim system to vary the glide angle to speed up or slow down flight. Adjust the NANO to match your skill and the terrain, even when it is steep. All sizes are very easy to inflate and launch,extremely solid in flight, and offer an easy, progressive and responsive reaction to your inputs. The turn is more ‘skiable’, without parasitic lift. Lift comes clearly and obviously when you decide. The NANO range is wide enough to suit everyone, from novices to experienced pilots. GIN introduces the fourth generation of the NANO, the speedriding wing by which all others are compared. The new 2010 version, designed for schooling and regular practice, is a leap forward from our earlier models.

The choice of the Speedglider size depends not only on the flying weight ( weight of the pilot plus equipment), but also on the pilot level and intended field of use. The choice of size is vital to safety: the smaller the glider, the higher level of pilot skill required. 

The Bobcat is the speedglider launchable by foot created by Gin Gliders. The Bobcat is opening new horizons of piloting for expert and careful pilots with a lot of flying experience. The air, the speed and the fun are joined for a new dimension of flight… the possibilities are growing!

The play of trajectories and speed against the relief opens new piloting potential, as yet unexplored using soft canopies. 

Important usage advice:

The Bobcat is a speedglider designed for highly experienced and responsible pilots that have enough

knowledge to adapt to the speedglider’s dynamic handling. The higher wing loading increases the speed

and the responsiveness of the handling. The glide angles are much lower than with modern paragliders.

The landing approach and landing itself are considerably different.

The Bobcat is not recommended for busy flying sites and training in a professional paragliding school is

strongly recommended. Regular practice on the ground is very useful. Take special care when deciding

when and where to fly, and respect other flying machines.

SPEEDFLYING  YAK

The Yak is the ultimate toy for mountain lovers, an outrageous amount of pure fun

packed into a tiny package of just over 2 kilos. Gin Gliders have produced this speedwing

drawing on all their knowledge and experience of light weight paragliding.

The Yak is delivered with the new Yeti ultra-light harness available in 2 versions: convertible to bag, or

non-convertible with GIN Alpine bag (50L). Ultra-easy to infl ate, this speed glider makes it easy to become airborne, and to land in a wide range of conditions. Its trim range allows you to decrease the glide ratio for a fast morning descent, or to increase it for a spot of afternoon soaring.

Even thermalling is possible with the larger sizes. Be safe, go fast! Take your boots, crampons and hiking poles! And let’s go to play!
